Use of cookies

The use of cookies on Web sites is the norm rather than the exception, and most browsers are programmed to accept them. Cookies only store information related to your movements on our site and do not have the ability to retrieve other types of data from your hard drive.

The CRIB website uses necessary Cookies that are crucial to the basic functions of the website and it will not function as intended without them. These cookies do not store any personally identifiable data.

The CRIB website also uses Functional Cookies that enable certain functionality such as sharing website content on social media platforms, collecting feedback and other third-party functionality.

No personal information is collected without the prior consent of the user.

Information transmitted automatically between computers cannot be used to identify you personally. It is only collected because of the technological requirements inherent in Internet browsing and is used for statistical purposes.

You can set your browser to block cookies at any time. However, doing so may deprive you of certain functions offered on the sites.

If you use a computer in a public place or share a computer with other users, be sure to delete the traces of your browsing stored in the history before ending each session.

Google Analytics

This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics tool.

Google Analytics collects information about your use of this website, which is stored on servers located, in particular, in the United States. Google may pass this information on to third parties where required to do so by law, or where such third parties process the data on Google's behalf.

The information collected by the tool is, for example:

  • The pages you visit

  • The date, time, duration and frequency of your visits

  • The links you click on

  • Your computer's operating system and language used

  • The name of your Internet service provider and your geographical location (region)

Your IP address is also collected, but anonymized (truncated) to ensure the confidentiality of your information. Anonymizing an IP address prevents it being used to identify an Internet user.

Google only uses the information collected to produce statistics and reports on the navigation of this site, which enables us to improve our online platforms. Under no circumstances will Google link the information collected on this website with any other data held by Google.

If you wish, you can prevent Google from recording information relating to your navigation by installing the Google Analytics deactivation browser add-on on your computer.
