STUDENTS

Students are at the heart of CRIB’s activities. Each year, they take part in the activities offered and organize their own initiatives via the student committees of each of the member universities. Moreover, they actively take part in research that leads to innovations in the world of concrete.

STUDY AT THE CRIB

Research grants

Each year, the CRIB awards scholarships to students registered under co-direction in its member universities. These scholarships are linked to innovative projects in collaboration with researchers who are members of the research center.

Knowledge sharing

The Center makes it possible to put forward an ambitious vision and a concrete common mission. The priority is to coordinate and optimize both Quebec research expertise and adapt to the role desired by our industrial, institutional and scientific partners.

Networking

Creating a network between the community of experts, professors and students in order to maximize the transfer of knowledge is also a great advantage of the CRIB.

Student conferences

The CRIB organizes an annual Student Colloquium held in the cities of its member universities. The event brings together over 150 participants from the student community, researchers, research professionals, technical staff and industry stakeholders.

Expert conferences

Speakers from industry are invited to present the latest topics and current discoveries related to CRIB's research areas. Students have the opportunity to interact with experts from Quebec or internationally.

Construction site visits

Knowledge of field issues is the key to developing research focused on the needs of the construction world. The CRIB organizes visits to construction sites, such as the Champlain Bridge, the Concorde viaduct, and more.
