Structure hall
This infrastructure has a structural slab 10 m wide by 20 m long, a reaction wall 6 m high, hydraulic jacks (100 kN-2000 kN capacity) for static and dynamic loading, as well as systems data acquisition.

Full-scale concrete element manufacturing laboratory
This external laboratory provides the facilities to prepare the formwork, assemble the instrumented reinforcements, pour the elements from delivery mixer trucks and mature the reinforced concrete under controlled conditions.

Integrated research laboratory in the valorization of materials and innovative sustainable structures
This 4000 m² FCI laboratory includes environmental chambers, 1 structural slab of 200 m2, a hydraulic press of 11.4 MN, 2 L-shaped reaction walls of 15 m, hydraulic cylinders used in static and dynamic and 1 automatic plant to concrete of 0.5 m3. Equipment for measuring the thermal properties of concrete has been available since 2018.

Laboratory for studying the lifespan of infrastructures
This laboratory offers unique equipment used to simulate the severe exposure conditions to which our concrete infrastructures are exposed. Built to allow the testing of large specimens (4 m), the different environmental chambers make it possible to apply freezing and thawing cycles, to assemble the best conditions for corrosion with salt spray and to enable fatigue testing at extreme temperatures.

Sprayed concrete characterization laboratory
This fully equipped laboratory for the production of shotcrete using full-size equipment is unique in the world since it allows research and development activities on shotcrete to be carried out under controlled conditions. This unique laboratory is the basis of fundamental research in the field of shotcrete in addition to being closely linked to the most recent developments in terms of equipment and design of shotcrete mixes.

Laboratory on the sustainable development of public infrastructures
This laboratory brings together the vital forces of all civil engineering; the water treatment plant, the geotechnical test trailer for testing concrete pavements, the large structural hall or the other available tools allow the realization of full-scale studies on the elements which affect our public infrastructures. In particular, this laboratory includes equipment to characterize cement pastes by nanoindentation.

Microanalysis laboratory
The microanalysis laboratory offers the scientific community, businesses and industry a service for characterizing natural and synthetic materials. The laboratory operates a CAMECA SX-100 electron microprobe and a JEOL 840-A scanning electron microscope (SEM). I also operate a Siemens D5000 X-ray diffractometer. The laboratory is associated with the department of geology and geological engineering as well as the department of mining, metallurgy and materials engineering.

Laboratory of the durability of cementitious materials and non-destructive measures applied to concrete
The laboratory includes a freeze-thaw chamber, a non-contact resistivity measurement device for in-situ monitoring of the hardening of fresh concrete, a set of equipment for non-destructive tests (rebound hammer, Windsor probe, speed of ultrasonic pulses, resonance frequency, pachometer, surface resistivity, etc.), an acoustic emission system used for live monitoring of cracking.

Building Materials Lab
This 140 m2 laboratory is specifically dedicated to the durability and non-destructive testing of concrete.
The equipment can test chloride resistance, alkali-silica reaction and freeze-thaw durability. The microstructure can be studied by mercury intrusion porosimetry or by optical microscopy. An environmental chamber allows you to simulate different outdoor environments.
